See what a lot of people don't know is, I have been on short/long term disability for over a year now. I have not done my job since February 10, 2025. I had a TIA which in turn has caused me many issues. I can no longer follow instructions. We talked about it recently when Bonnie helped me with a recipe. August of 2025, I broke down and filed for SSDI. I cried filling out that paperwork because I felt I was letting my family down. Well, I have waited to find out when I would be assigned an agent. In Alabama, they do not look at your file for the minimum of 200 days. They want you to give up. Today, I got the call saying I was getting assigned and would have new paperwork sent to me and my doctors since I have had medical changes since then. I can no longer use a key board for more than two hours. It has been discovered I have RA and fybromyalga. Now, I know why I hurt all the time. So, I am one step closer.
