I knew taxes were going to bite me but never did I imagine that they'd bite this hard!!!!

OMG...

Seems the powers-that-be didn't do ANY withholdings on John's "unused leave payout".... So I'm stuck holding the bag for approx 1/3 of it in taxes now.

YIKES!!!!!!
