They step in where the government is dragging it's heels or burying disasters in bureaucracy. They were a gift from God when my family in EKY went thru the floods a few years ago. The government hates them because they make FEMA look like CRAP! And they've branched out in recent years to search for missing people & have a pretty impressive track record.
