I was pretty sure I was going to like this movie, and I did, A LOT! I liked everything - the acting, costumes, makeup, music and cinematography. I agree with others that it should be seen on the big screen even tho it was REALLY loud.

I had never heard of the guy playing Dracula (Caleb Landry Jones) but I think he’s a really good actor. I looked him up and he’s been in over 30 movies. There were a couple of goofy moments, maybe the director was going for a little humor, IDK.

I would like to see this movie again because I missed some of the dialogue the first time and I would probably even watch it a third time!

Brian did not want to see this movie to start with, but went because he knew how much I wanted to see it. I have have a nice husband. 😊. He thought they should have cast a better looking person to play Dracula. He also thought the movie dragged in some spots (I didn’t). I had to draw attention to the costumes, makeup and sets - men don’t notice those things. You would think that a movie with war, swords, guns and other violence would be appealing to men but this movie is not for men. I guess they don’t get the romantic aspect.
