I sent an email to boardhost asking if the agreement message was actually from them. I am waiting to hear back from them. I think it is genuine though.
I got around it by closing out and going back in to post the message. I haven't been asked to agree to the consent form before
It says

and understand the information such as my IP address will be logged and shared with the message board creator and or moderators in order to control abuse.
