Driveway hasn't been touched. Guy can't get here to try to dig it out.

Mail hasn't been delivered since Saturday.

But I'm warm & toasty and still have a full pantry - although I'd just about sell my big toe for a big bag of salad mix! (Salads are my "go to" when a single meal uses up my carb allowance for the day - like yesterday when I had two biscuits with breakfast.)

Heat pump is still going strong but has a somewhat alarming roar/rattle going on. Repair guy will be here to check it out Tuesday afternoon & I've got their 24-hour emergency number if anything goes tilt before then. (I suspect ice may have damaged one of the blades on the fan before I got everything shut down & covered.)

T & Meg are supposed to come in this weekend but I've told them not to unless the road seriously improves by this evening. I miss them desperately but would rather they be SAFE. We'll see if they listen.

Oh and my trash can is frozen to the ground. Can't move it. Had to use a hammer to break the lid open so I could empty my house trash. Had to use the same hammer to get the gate on the driveway open. The part by the pole was buried in about 3" of ice and all that had to be broken up & dug out before it could open.

I've binge watched all of Yellowstone & am starting on 1883, cleaned hosue til I'm sick of cleaning house, dug thru boxes of stuff that had me alternately laughing & crying for hours, and today I'm playing with uploading more stuff to my redbubble shop. Might as well see if anyone is interested in any of it.
