The type of snow that squeaks when you walk on it...
I'd rather have snow than the ice & I'm uncomfortably close to the snow/ice transition line for tomorrow. If it moves North even 10 miles, it'll get me.
Meanwhile temps are already so low that my heat pump can't keep up & is running supplemental heat so, as long as I've got electric, I'm running an infrared heater to try to help it out and have blocked off all the bedrooms.
And I found the adapter hose this morning that will let me hook a grill tank up to my little camp stove! Woohoo!!!! John had put it UNDER the DVD shelves in the living room (?!?!?!?!?!?!) and I was moving something and saw about an inch of hose sticking out. That will be HUGE if we lose electric! I can save my little propane bottles for the Buddy Heater and use a grill tank for cooking/heating water instead of having to ration... (I was even looking to see if I could cook on top of the kerosene heater...)
Anyway, regardless of what Mother Nature decides to do here, it's gonna be a rough ride.
Best of luck to everyone else that this will be hitting... I just talked to T and L'ville (where CindyV lives) **should** stay all snow but they're predicted to get 3-5" more than I am. The roads there were already covered around 1:30.
