because the patrons have just been awful. Talking loud during the shows. waving their phone screens and turning them on and off. Just been awful during the movies. The owner got tired of it. It has been here over 100 years so we are hoping someone else will buy it and make it work out. They put a lot of work into it over the last ten years, taking it from from 1 movie room to 4 different theater We will be sad to see it go if they change it to something else. They talked about apartments. But right up town? Not sure what to think about that.
