That describes today... I just wanna wrap up in a warm blanket & go back to bed!!!!

BUT I hauled my butt out to church this morning for Owen & Hayden's dedication. Yeah, I do NOT like the minister at that church... Nope. Not at all. I'll go for special occasions like today but that's it. And it's sad because I like everything else about that church: the associate minister, the youth groups, the community outreach, the people... But the main guy's sermons have me gritting my teeth & having to force myself to not walk out.

The weather held off for yesterday afternoon's fun. Thank goodness. I did great with my .22 at the range. Sucked with the 9mm. But we've identified my problem with the 9mm - now I've just got to figure out how to fix it. I'm anticipating the recoil and jerking the barrel downward as I pull the trigger. Not consciously. Even when I'm fighting it, it's like my hand has a mind of it's own & down goes the barrel.... This is gonna be tough to fix!!!!!

The Dia De Los Muertos celebration was nice. Lonely but nice. I recognized a few people there (the family hosting it & a lady from the church we went to when the kids were little) but no one that I knew well enough to hang out with. I'll try to post some pics later this week. Very educational experience & the dancers were something you don't expect to see in L'burg KY for sure! I was tired & left after the 2nd set of dancers which was probably a good thing as the sky opened up & POURED as I pulled into the garage here at the house.

Think I'll spend most of today trying to clear all the paperwork on my desk. I've done a bunch already since getting home from church. My goal is to actually be able to see the top of my desk for once isntead of piles of paper.....
