I would have gone with the Ninja. And read more of the reviews on this Cuisinart toaster oven/ air fryer. I gave up on any cakes, pies and cookies because if you put it on the middle rack, (which has almost fallen out on the floor if you pull it out halfway) it gets too brown on top. I have tried turning the temp down and cooking longer but the middle doesn't get hot enough. There isn't much difference between the air fryer and convection oven that I can see. It makes great frozen french fries and onion rings if I use it on 350 and no higher. I've killed chicken and pork chops. It didn't do too bad of a job on steak once switching between air fry and then grill. We like steak medium and for that it got the middle cooked enough.
A professioal cook might love the thing. I am not a fan of it.
