Every time I think I have a solid budget, SOMETHING BREAKS & HAS TO BE REPLACED!!! (Or a dog does something stupid that involves an emergency trip to the vet....)

It's so aggravating.

I'll feel a lot better about my finances after taxes in the spring when I know just how bad that's gonna hurt.... (I know this year I can still claim Joint but Widowed - I'm going to ask the tax guy to also run it as a Single so I can compare & know what's coming the next year.)
