I am frustrated with Dr. Oz. He wants to have everyone use Medicare Advantage plans. We use a medicare supplement plan G. Yes, it is more expensive but we can see any doctor we want. I am not sure but I don't think being out of network matters. Plan G is going to go up at least 40% this year, probably to discourage people from getting it. It would pay the 20% medicare won't pay. 20% of a huge hospital bill would still cost thousands. That is why people can lose their homes. I just don't see how medicare advantage is a good thing with high deductibles and many services being denied.
