Which I've heard repeatedly over my 60 years & it ain't happened yet - PLUS the Bible says clearly that no one will know the hour or the day. And now they're saying it will be preceded by "3 days of darkness," where electricity won't work, no manmade light will work outside of the home - some even claim that the only light inside will come from solid white beeswax candles that have been blessed by a Catholic priest in which case 90% of us are screwed....

Soooo anyway just in case they're right this time, here's what they're saying you're supposed to do when "the darkness" occurs: Cover your windows & lock your doors. Do NOT look or go outside for the entire time of the darkness no matter what. Even if you hear someone you know knocking on your door or calling for help because it won't be them, it wil lbe demons. Be sure to have 3 days of non perishable food & water on hand (don't forget water for flushing the toilet). Have warm clothes & blankets because the darkness will be COLD and you'll ahve no heat .

Yes I'm a skeptic. But I'm also a Christian (shaky tho that may be, I believe in God as a Supreme Being but I also believe that He presented Himself to different cultures in different forms - "we're all working towards the same destination - doesn't matter what you call the bus driver!") so I have to believe that at some point, the events outlined in the Bible (and in many of the religious texts associated with other religions) will occur. So it doesn't hurt to know what to expect if/when it does.
