They did. And the woman who harpooned me should NOT be a phlebotomist. I swear to y'all, she drew back like she was going to throw a dart and slammed that needle into the bend of my arm!!! I'm pretty tough and I was kicking my feet & (literally) biting my other hand to keep from yanking my arm away from her (or using that hand to punch the old bat). It hurt sooooooo bad!!!! And it's still hurting 4 hours later....
New doc seems "okay." He's not Doc H. No one can replace him. But he seems okay with my "if it aint' broke" approach to life. At least so far. We'll see after he gets my bloodwork back. We may have to agree to disagree there.
Meanwhile, I had to leave the dogs inside & the gate open because the building inspector was supposed to be here to inspect the front porch. Can't use it until it passes inspection. And I have no idea if he's been here or not & he's not answering the contractor's calls so my poor pups are cooped up inside all day AGAIN.
At the same time, the contractor was supposed to send someone today to pick up the leftover lumber & affiliated debris and guess who hasn't done that either?
The pups are tired of being cooped up & I'm exhausted from having to be up at 5:30 so I can let them out for a couple of hours before having to put them up and open the gate...
And I get the feeling tomorrow will be similar. Probably still waiting for the crap to be picked up AND a nurse is coming to teach me to give my own Skyrizi shots but she can't tell me when she'll get here so.... once again, pups will have to be up. (And I'm not even gonna talk about how bad I'm already freaking out at the thought of giving myself a shot!!!!!)
