That terrifies me with my great-nephew.

But at the same time, BEFORE S became E I was always worried that she would be the next school shooter. She was a misfit. She didn't fit in anywhere due to her off-the-chart level of intelligence & she was always angry and "in your face' with it. On top of that she loved guns AND killing things. I don't know that she ever killed just for the sake of killing but she'd shoot a fawn just as quick as she'd shoot a large buck and the same went for other species as well.

But E.... doesn't seem to have that anger any more. We talked for hours over the 4th of July and E is soooo much more calmer and personable than S ever was.

Thing is I don't know if that's due to the transition (and resulting hormone treatments) or if he's on other medications. I know that he is in therapy of some sort.

I'm not afraid OF him but yeah, I'm afraid FOR him. And I'm afraid of what he could conceivably do if something happened to mess with his newfound calm.....
