A few minutes after he called, my dermatologist called & told me to flat out STOP taking the Otezla she'd prescribed, that it wasn't worth the risk & we'd find another drug (probably a biologic) to throw at my psoriasis. To give the Otezla about a week to clear my system & call back in and she'll set me up with something else.
So... when I got up this morning, my blood pressure was back at MY "normal": 138/82. But I went ahead & took the new meds anyway because technically that's still hypertension. Lo & behold a couple of hours later, I'm sitting at a BEEEEYUOOOOTIFFUL 114/64.
I haven't had blood pressure that low since before I had kids!!!! SWEET!
Gonna keep tracking it several times a day though just to make sure it doesn't spike again... OR drop too low.
Are we having fun yet?????
