Dermatologist is starting me on Otezla because my psoriasis has just gone bonkers since John died. Stress a huge trigger....

It's kinda scary due to the possible side effects & where it's a relative new drug - one of the newer "biologics" that have come out. On the positive side, one of them can be excessive weight loss - maybe I'll get lucky and that will be the only one I get!!!!

In other news, getting FIVE shots in an area about the size of a quarter isn't a whole lot of fun. Owwieeee!!!!!!!! But hopefully it'll knock out the latest granuloma annulare growing on my elbow... Creams and ointments have always healed them in the past but they weren't working on this one so she pumped them spots full of steroids.

Hey, maybe those steroids will sink in a little deeper and help with the arthritis while they're in there!
