"TB" is one of my favorite archery kids. He came from a rough bunch & a lot of folks held that against him. But he was always polite as can be and responsbie and didn't hesitate to stand for what he believed in. I respected him for that. Big time. Cause that's tough for a teenager to do!

Flash forward 15 years and he's not only thrived, he's become a much-loved police officer on the county sheriff's department. I never run into him that I don't get a big hug from a 6'6" fella who's built like a tank wearing the blue (or sometimes brown) & positively dripping with weapons. (Weapons which he doesn't NEED might I add because he's also a black belt in karate & runs his own dojo in town!)

Anyway, he's got 3 of the cutest little boys you've ever seen. Just adorable every one of 'em. But I'm partial to the middle one. He's roughly Owen's age & they've played soccer against each other a few times. Now Owen is cute but "E" out-cutes him every which way but loose. Just ADORABLE!!!!

Two weeks ago, E came down with appendicities & they had to operate and remove his appendix. Everything seemed to go well & he was sent home a day or two later and for a few days, all seemed fine. Then he just wasn't feeling good. And then last night he spiked a super high fever which led to an ambulance trip to the ER....

Hours of testing later, they've found a huge abcess where his appendix was cut loose. Massive infection. As of right now, they've got him on IV antibiotics trying to get it at least slowed down until they can get him back into an operating room.

There's a very real risk that he could go septic before they get it under control....

Just pray for this sweet kid & his awesome parents (and his two brothers too)!!!
