I mean about the doctor not refilling your pills for a whole year because the same thing just happened to me!

The pharmacy notified me that a refill of my pills was denied by my doctor.......WHAT??! I've been taking these pills (BP and thyroid) for YEARS. I go for an annual wellness visit every December and usually get enough refills for a year. I didn't even realize that it says 1 refill on the bottle instead of 3. I'm PO'd. Is this some new law just put into effect or something? I mean it's not like these pills are dangerous substances or anything.

Anyway, I called for an appointment and the first one available is July 16th! These visits are a joke as it is.......20 minutes sitting in the exam room, answering some questions, blood pressure taken and my heart being listened to and then being charged an obscene amount of money! Hmph!
