I'd been needing a haircut since last fall but John just wasn't up to it. (He'd done mine for about 20 years - ever since I gave up on trying to keep it curled.)

And since he passed, I've just been in a deep blue funk (that shows no signs of lessening yet).

But today, it annoyed the snot out of me. Hot & sweaty & blowing every which way when I was tryig to work on the yard. Got hung in the seat belt in the car. Got hung in the strap of my purse. AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

So off I went. And off 5" of it went.

It's strange looking in the mirror but it feels GREAT!!!
