The kids celebrated my birthday this weekend. Had dinner and a cake down at Kate's house. It was okay. She's in a snit again. (What's new?)

Seems they're determined to drag me kicking & screaming into the digital age... Since getting Starlink, I'd picked up a home camera security system (bluetooth based) and T set it up for me. I'd also picked up some bluetooth moisture detection alarms that I set up in the basement.

What I didn't expect was for them to go together & get me an Alexa system and smart plugs.So far, Alexa is really annoying to me (she's LOUD and I haven't figured out how to turn the volume down) and darned if I know which plugs would be best set up to be controlled by her!!!!!

I guess I'll figure it out eventually. Hopefully. (I've had my car over a year now & still haven't figured out all the computer crap on it!!!!!)
