They have such good produce at a little store called Lavern's - it's less than half a mile from where the farmers bring in their produce to auction it off to wholesalers. (I won't go back to the auction again after the infamous 200+ lbs of tomatoes I accidentally bought - lol - but I've often bought stuff "straight off the buggy" as they were bringing to Lavern's from the auction.)

Unfortunately, it's roughly 80 miles away - and those roads are interstate - so it's going to be HARD to justify road trips for just one person now. :-(
