They got to bring Hayden home about 10 days ago. He's gained almost 2 lbs. since he was born which puts him right about the same size Owen was when he was born - which would be about right since he wasn't "due" til June 8th and Owen was born 3 weeks early.

They finally let me see him last night - I'd been begging since they got home - so I took dinner down to them. He's still terrifyingly small at only 6 lbs. 4 oz. (smaller than either Kate or Travis was a birth) but he's absolutely perfect. I got to hold him for about 20 minutes before my shoulder gave out. (The one with the pins holding it together does NOT like the weather we've been having.)

Kate is about the same. It seemed like everything went well last night but I guarantee that by now, she's come up with something to be pissed about. Seems like that's what always happens.

Matt is doing good. He just looks so tired... His job is extremely challenging and I get the feeling he's been staying up at nights with Hayden instead of Kate.

Gotta go. We've got storms & tornados popping around again today & the lightning is getting too close for comfort....
