They presented me with a lifetime membership as thanks for all John & I have done for the club over the years. Those haven't been available for over 20 years & then only 15 were SOLD as part of an emergency fundraiser after one of the berms failed..... All I could do was squeak Holy Shit and hug everyone within reach while bawling my eyes out!

Why is it that guys flat out can't deal with a crying woman????? After seeing looks of sheer panic, I told 'em, "y'all my waterworks are gonna be broke for a long time - just pass me a kleenex & wait til I dry out!"

The wild game dinner was a huge success. I think we fed around 40 people. Not a huge turnout but the ones who were there were singing our praises ^ they're were several new faces there last night that I hadn't seen before. Hopefully they'll spread the word.

We served up pheasant fried rice, venison kabobs, wild goose lo mein, venison poppers, duck breasts in Asian bbq sauce, a kale salad with Asian dressing, little slices of rye bread with a cream cheese/Asian seasoning spread, orange juice cake, and butter pecan praline cake.

Now I've gotta figure out what to fix to go with pulled pork for next month. AND... figure out if I want to sign on for preparing desserts for a local food truck aas a side job. I was offered that job last night too. All I'd do is prep the desserts here at home & deliver them either to the owner's house or wherever they were set up for the weekend.
