Still reeling emotionaly from the past few weeks. Espec the last 2. I'll have to let that out at some point but....

John hadn't set things up with his pension/retirement accounts like he thought he had so I'm having to educate myself in a hurry on all of that. And they're telling me it'll be AT LEAST 6 to 8 weeks before I'll get my 1st payment so I'm having to budget accordingly to float thru til then.

There's some sort of hold up with the state records in getting his death certificates & I can't do ANTHING until they're available. With the delay on starting pension payments, the life insurance pay out would sure come in handy... espec after all the funeral & cemetery expenses!

I'm just taking everthing a step at a time & unfortunatley (forutnatley?) it's not leaving me much time to think & to deal with all the emotions.

That time will come though. And it's not gonna be pretty....

In the meantime, I want to send SPECIAL thanks to two of you who proved once again that "internet friends" are the real thing!!!!!!! I'll be in touch with you both later.
