said he was kept on a chain outside and was a bag of bones. The rescue lady brought him to the house. We met him out by the pond and he seemed fine with us. She left, and he was still ok with both of us. We don't know if he liked the place and was afraid we would give him to someone else or what the heck he was thinking but no one could go near him without a warning growl. He was absolutely perfect in the house. Never pottied or disturbed or chewed up anything except for taking a sandwich off the table once. He learned tricks really fast. He was a dream to walk, unlike the current walking nightmare.😁 I just never got why he hated other people so much when he warmed up to us so well. Rangey is the total opposite. He is a total schmooze with people. Just loves them!
We did take him over to see the rescue lady once at a park and he wouldn't let her near him with her. He was fine with her here. She even made sure he could do the basement stairs okay if needed. He didn't seem upset that she left him with us here. I never understood it. But I miss him so much. He knew he was loved and this was his forever home. Just totally spoiled rotten, which was mostly a big part of the problem.
