John is still here & he's working & fully part of the family (albeit physically disabled for the most part). So, out of respect, I try to include him in all important decisions (and even a lot of the smaller ones that affect us, the house, the kids, etc.).

Lately, he doesn't bother responding. Not even to thngs as simple as "what do you want me to fix you for lunch."

And it's pissing me off. BIGLY!!!!

So... our washing machine died last night. Talked to our friendly neighborhood appliance guy who had me check a few things & he says there's a 90% chance, she's done for. She's almost 30 years old, they don't make replacement parts, and from what he can tell without coming out, she's dead. And he'd rather not charge me a service call just to deliver bad news. Again.

So.... I've been researchign washers. Found one that would work that has pretty decent reviews.

Sent it all to John along with the explanation & asked for his opinion. That was an hour ago. I walked in & he's got my message up on his computer but isnt' reponnding.

So I sent one bitching about his lack of response.

Nothing.

So I sent one with a deadline. That at 10:55am, I'm making the decsion without his input & he can just frickin'well live with it.

Again no response.

Wanna guess who's gonna be pissed??? Oh yeah, he's going to throw a fit. But at this point, I don't care. I know he feels liek crap but if he's well enough to keep working, he's well enough to at least give me common courtesy.

I didn't try to communicate with him verbally because he ignores me then too so I stand there staring at him for 10-15 minutes, waiting impatiently, and then just walk away. An hour later or so, he'll show up & may or may not have a response.... USUALLY, I can at least get SOME type of response via messaging.

Gotta go. Time to call the appliance guy & then get my new wsahing machine ordered.
