We use propane to heat here, with a couple of electric heaters for the coldest crappy weather. We spend about $1500 a year on propane; and $150 a month on average for electric. That must be for the furnace fan, fridge, electric dryer and lights. We hardly use any propane in the summer. We keep it at 68 at night and between 71-75 during the day. They are planning to raise our electric bill 20% this year.
