Part of the mountain slid off, hit the creek & blocked it, shoving all that floodwater out of the banks & into homes...
It just happened. One home collapsed in the slide. Others are flooding fast. They don't know how many are trapped & people are trying to salvage what they can but there's no place to go. (It also blocked the only "real" road into that area - the only way out now is across a 4-wheel trail - assuming it's not washed it too.)
