Repeat over & over & over & over & over....
By the time it slowed down enough for me to walk away (and just let it seap for awhile to be dealt with later), I was so tired that I was pretty much incoherent. I vaguely remember staggering upstairs & stripping and falling into bed.
Sadly, I was back up within 2 hours to go back down & do another pass with the shop vac. Repeated that several more times throughout the day.
I'm kinda afraid to go down there now & see if more came in overnight.... It snowed off & on all day yesterday.
Gotta clean house FAST this morning. John has an old friend coming by this afternoon. She's never been to our house & between the flood, a slight skunky smell still around from Sebastian's encounter, and all the mud from dog feet, IT'S A MESS!!!!!!!
And we'll be out before daylight tomorrow heading to Lex to meet with the new oncologist's palliative care team to try to get John some relief. I suspect a referral to hospice may also be coming....
