I get a notice that I have a balance due from my annual wellness exam in December, so I call to ask what the amount is and I'm told $200.65. Mind you, our insurance company covers an annual wellness exam in full, so I'm like.....WHAAAAT??? I was told they submitted the claim to my insurance company, who paid $85 of the original claim which was $397.00 (less some discounts) and I owe $200.65. I questioned that and was told to speak to the billing dept. So, I called the billing dept and asked if $397.00 was a regular charge for a wellness exam with no tests taken except for taking my blood pressure and refilling my prescriptions. That's crazy! Something's messed up somewhere.

Anyway, Brian is going to go online and check it out for me. PITA!
