Yep, last night wasn't a lot of fun. I was asleep on the couch & woke up to thunder. By the time I realized what I was hearing, it was right on top of us. I got up to head back to the bedroom & about the time I stood up, every hair on me went straight up and there was a big sizzling CRACK/FLASH accompanied by an instantaneous roll of thunder that literally had things on the walls rattling.

I'm not gonna type the words that came out of my mouth.

The lights flashed off & on a few times as I was running to shut down the heat pump. For the next half hour, the TV in the bedroom would turn itself on and then off sporadically. Everything seems to be "okay" though now.

I'm not sure exactly WHERE that bolt hit but it was definitely too close for comfort!!!!
