Hauled truckloads in & filled in against the foundation. That stopped the leakage back then (approx 20 years ago). That dirt is still in place but now it's leaking in new locations (the worst being underneath the concrete slab front porch where we can't access).

In pics of the house, the porch is wood. That's built on top of the concrete slab porch underneath. Fun, huh?
