There's not much hope of the immunotherapies working but... we've gotta try.
Long day with the kids yesterday. John slept thru most of it. The kids & I discussed living wills, DNR orders, donating his body to research when the battle is over, and plans for a memorial service.
I've been researching all of that most of the day. So depressing...
And trying to come up with anything high calorie for him to eat. The tumors pressing on his stomach mean he can only eat a few bites at a time so we need to make them count. Screw nutrition at this piont - he needs CALORIES!!!!!
Oh and Travis & I talked about dealing with the basement afterwards. He agrees & is willing to assist with gutting the walk in storage, bathroom, laundry room, and canning kitchen so we can get a company come in to fix the leaks (and probably have them restabilize the wall in the canning kitchen (below my office). It has a slight bow to it that may or may not have been there for years. That whole project is something I should go on & begin but I just can't with dealing with John's illness at the same time so pray we don't have any substantial rain until after!!!!
