Yeah, I know we're getting older but STILL...

Since John was diagnosed with cancer in August 2023, here are some of the peopole close to us:

Terri - my "evil twin" lol. diagnosed with breast cancer, is NOT doing well.

Harold - John's cousin, diagnosed with pancreatic cancer & died.

LouAnn - head of the kitchen committee @ the club, diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, doctors are still trying to figure out how to treat

Kimberly - secretary at the club & good friend, diagnosed with breast cancer, started chemo last week.

Rick - internet from for 20+ years, diagnosed & under treatment for prostate cancer.

Jack - another member of the club board, diagnosed with kidney cancer but was lucky, his had not spread, currently NED (no evidence of disease).

Bernice - neighbor, some type of eye cancer, died.

Houston - Bernice's son. Pancreatic cancer. Died.

Montie - John's cousin's husband. Diagnosed with colon cancer. Currently in treatment.

There have always been a few people we knew with cancer (and Lord knows we've lost a bunch over the years) but this many all at once??? Within 17 months in our little circle of friends??? That doesn't seem right....
