that she actually lived on Wilshire Blvd. Oops!!!!!

Based on when my niece lost her home in a fire, the best thing anyone can do would be to send her money (or VISA/MC gift cards). She's going to need new EVERYTHING but at the same time, she has no place to store anything until she finds a place to live... And that's going to take $$ and time because there are thousands more just like her who have lost everything & looking for the same things. :-(
