We needed to run into town Saturday to pick up a few things & about halfway there, John gave her gas & she just ROARED and didn't accellerate. By the time we got pulled off the road, she wouldn't go forward or back. The engine would just roar.

It sure sounds like the transmission blew....

We had her towed to our repair guy's shop & will talk to him today but if it's the tranny, she's toast. We can't justify throwing more money at her after spending almost $4000 on her already this year (new brakes & rotors, new rear springs, new door handles, new battery, and replaced the valve covers which required pulling the engine)....



Dangit, this sucks.

In other news, John appears to be having yet another reaction of some sort.. He woke up this morning covered in a funky red rash (flat brownish red spots all over his entire body). I've got calls in to both UK and MD Anderson to see what we need to do by we'll be leaving in about 15 minutes for todays radiation treatment so.....
