Tom took Piper back to the vet today. She just was not acting right. I got a phone call from the vet. He and I talked. Piper now has End Stage Renal Disease. He said if he were to put her on a scale of 1-10, he is placing her at an 8. So, he has cut back her Lasix. Gave her a much smaller dose 2x a day. Then, she is taking meds for her kidneys. Once a week, she has to go in and get SubQ fluids. So her kidneys will flush out.
The doctor and I will be working very closely together on making sure Piper is not in any way of suffering. As hard as this is for me, she is all that matters.
I know we have the bullies and if Rosie passes 3 more health tests, she will be having a romantic appointment with one of the top males in the country. But I am beyond afraid of losing Piper.
