I feel like Debbie Downer but that's just my life right now...

He's still running a fever. It's still a struggle/fight to get him to eat. He's only functional if he's drugged up on vicodin & then it's only good for maybe 4 hours at a time, followed by several hours of hell until he can take another dose.

And last night, he's pretty sure another rib broke... he was in HORRIBLE pain for hours & could barely breathe....

I "ran away" to a dentist appointment yesterday & walked a couple of flea malls before coming back home. I needed a break for a little bit before coming back to deal with everything.

On top of his condition, we've been notified that the program that's paid for his chemo is being discontinued come Jan 1 so what has been free up until now will likely cost us thousands of dollars each month.

AND I'm trying to confirm how this other news affects us... BC/BS of Texas has completely DROPPED MD Anderson as a provider & will no longer cover charges there. Our problem is that we're technically under Anthem BC/BS of Kentucky but since MDA is out of state they have some billing agreement with BC/BS of Texas. And so far, I've been unable to find out if we're screwed there or not...

It never ends.
