So when I'm in a store and I'm buying dog stuff and someone asks me......."What kind of dog do you have?" I usually say, "I have three - a German Shepherd, a Sheltie and a Heinz 57". They usually know what Heinz 57 means and they laugh. But the other day I was in Trader Joes and among other things, I bought two kinds of dog treats. The cashier was a guy with grey hair who had to be in his 50's and he asked what kind of dog I had. When I got to the Heinz 57 part, he looked at me with a confused look on his face and said, "Heinz 57?". So I explained it to him and he said, "Oh, I thought it was a new breed of dog". Hmmm, I thought everybody knew what that meant.
