Multiple people in NC are reporting that property owners in Chimney Rock (the few that are still alive) have been told that the entire town is going to be BULLDOZED ASAP. That the bodies of people still laying there, buried in the mud, in the houses, etc. are NOT going to be retrieved. That they will be bulldozed along with the rest of the "debris."

Oh and that the government is SEIZING all of that property - that it no longer belongs to the landowners & is now government property and that anyone trying to go there will be prosecuted.

I can't even... I'm horrified not only at what has happened as a result of Hurricane Helene. Trust me when I say the national media isn't showing jack sh**. The reality is 1000x worse.

What happened to EKY two years ago was NOTHING compared to this.

And our government is not only refusing to help but they've forbidden individuals neighbors from helping (and yes, people have been arrested, semis full of donations have been seized, and helicopters have been grounded) and now they're just going to bulldoze everything (including the dead) and seize the land.

For what? What is their frickin' goal in all of this? What are they trying to do?

For the 1st time in my life, I'm not only ashamed of my government but I'm terrified of them as well.

If they get away with doing this, the America was all knew & loved is over and we truly no longer live in "the land of the free" and those in power can destroy any of us without a second thought.
