she has improved in many ways, but having issues in other ways. She is "better" at going outside on her own, and going up and down the stairs. But now she is having some coughing, and every once in a while she decides "I am not eating this", and needs some persuasion. She pants way more than she ever did. Maybe I am just being hyper aware of everything. But I love her to death and I give her way more attention than ever before, and she likes that and asks for it more.

It should be time for her monthly tick/heartworm - but that isn't happening. She is back to where she was before the last pill. I remember thinking "look at her going out into the yard and happy", and then the pill. Nope, not going to poison her again.
