I hope you can find a way to detox her system. Some dogs just can't handle the preventative pills. I know that towards the end with both Geena & Chewbie & Brahms, our vets recommended NO preventatives, not even vaccinations.

Maybe as Indyv suggested, try a topical for flea/ticks? As long as she's inside with you, I wouldn't worry too much about heartworms at her age.
