T & Meg will be here this weekend to can pears. Matt helped pick them a couple nights ago & T and Meg will do all the manual labor part of canning them. (With me supervising & in charge of filling & sealing jars and John running the canners from a zero gravity recliner on the deck.)

I'm not gonna have time to bake again until next week! lol!

Plus right now, we have sourdough bread running out our ears... A small loaf from a few days ago, over half of the big loaf from yesterday, plus the funky mishaped bonus loaf that blew out of the pullman pan so we scraped it all up & tossed it into a small loaf pan to keep it from going to waste...

Hopefully the starter survives the hold. I'd hate to have to start it over again.
