T & Meg came in yesterday to mow the yard & dog area for us. John just can't these days - he's too weak.

And since they were here, K & M showed up with Owen.

I tell ya, the kid is just as cute as a button!!!!



But he's as mean and sneaky as a striped snake, throws fits if anyone tells him "no," and will glare right in K&M's face and scream at them.... and then they give him whatever he wants. I tell ya, he's a holy terror!!!!

T was like "y'all woulda killed me if I pulled that crap!!!!!" and Meg was like "I was a stubborn kid but if I'd EVER glared at my parents & yelled right in their faces, I wouldnt be here today!!!"

Ai yi yi!!!!!

(Is it bad that the 1st thing that crossed my mind was "if he's this bad now, I can't wait til his teenage years when he makes their lives a living hell??????")

In other news, T & M are still looking for a new home with at least a couple of acres. The search isn't going well... Kate is recovering from her surgery & goes back for a follow up today. Matt received a HUGE promotion a couple of weeks ago. He's now a regional supervisor & is making clsoe to what John is (after 25 years on the job). Not bad for a kid who barely graduated from high school! (And it burns K's behind that he's making waaaaaaay more than she is!)
