I would like to be able to Uber to Kohl's some time this month since I have Kohl's rewards cash for the month and there's a Barnes and Noble bookstore within a five minute walking distance from Kohl's in the adjoining shopping center, then Uber home from the bookstore. I haven't been to any of the Barnes and Noble stores since last year in the summer. I could look for some new paperback mysteries, look through their magazine offerings, and have some chocolate or berry flavored cheesecake at the bookstore cafe. The temperatures need to be reasonable on the day I do this, definitely not on a day when it's 102 degrees out. This reminds me I need to order a few more bottles of Gatorade when I do the next supermarket delivery.
Just the usual chores today and getting ready for this new week. Tomorrow afternoon I have my dermatologist appointment, my last scheduled doctor appointment for the month. Laundry day should finally be Tuesday afternoon. I have an Amazon non-perishable foods delivery coming this afternoon. No new Stop and Shop supermarket delivery until the end of the week, after the worst of the heatwave ends. I'm out of ice cream, so I will order more then.
I still need to order a disposable cat litter pan and cat pan liners from Amazon for the new cat who still doesn't have a name yet. He'll need a deworming shot at the vet so if he picked up anything outside it will die off. My sister will bring her big pet crate for him to settle into for a few days to get acclimated in the house before setting him loose in the house. It will give all the cats time to adjust to each other. Fortunately we have a spare regular cat litter box. In general we have one larger enclosed cat box in use, but with more cats coming into the picture between Sam's stay with us plus the new kitty the spare box will have to go back into steady usage.
Did the neglected dog belonging to the family who lives behind you ever turn up?
