It's humid, hazy sun, in the mid 80s. I'm killing time at the medical building since my appointment isn't for a while. We had rain yesterday afternoon to early evening. Just regular rain, no thunderstorms, wind issues or flooding problems like they had again yesterday down in South Jersey.

It's supposed to be hit or miss showers this afternoon with rain tonight and overnight with a cold front. If there is no rain around when I get back home I may finally get to walk down to the laundromat. My one sister will be house and dog sitting for her friend whose sister lives down at the Jersey shore, so she spends summer weekends visiting. So it will be a quiet weekend for me.

My other sister's conference isn't in NYC after all. It's in another state, so she is coming next Friday to drop off her cat Sam, spend the weekend then leave. Apparently she and her best friend are also taking a trip to Europe early next month so her cat will be with us for a while. So much for thinking she was spending a week up here and we were going to go places. Nope, instead I am just taking care of Sam. Sometimes siblings bring nothing but disappointment. (sigh)
