It's more humid today heading up to about 90 degrees or so. It's a bit overcast right now. It's possible there may be showers around this evening. Tomorrow starts the 100 degrees days through Friday with overnight lows around 80 degrees.
The iodine water yesterday made my stomach queasy, they really need to refrigerate it first, but I did grocery shop afterwards. I treated myself to a pint of vanilla peanut butter cup ice cream. I bought store bakery strawberry muffins and pistachio muffins. With the high heat I will pop them in the freezer to keep them fresh and pull them out for light summer lunches. When it's hot out eating heavy meals is a bit much.
I drank a lot of water last night and am supposed to drink plenty of water for a couple of days to completely flush out all the iodine in the oral contrast solution plus the IV contrast solution. The contrast prep takes a lot more time than the actual CT scans themselves. They had the World Cup soccer match between Japan and Brazil on the waiting room tvs so I saw that.
I'm tired but really should go to the laundromat later this afternoon. The recycling needs organizing since it gets picked up on Thursday this time instead of Friday because of the holiday. Otherwise I want to take it easy this week.
