We have dollar generals around, but not nearly as many as the dollar tree stores that are all over the place. We have four dollar tree stores here in town, but only two dollar generals. Walmarts are only found in some counties, and the counties that do have them have multiple locations. Chain stores here tend to run in clusters. We have two Michaels locations here in town. One is larger located in a strip mall that was built about fifteen years ago. The smaller Michi store used to be an A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts store. Otherwise there is just one more Michaels store in the county and it's further up-county on one of the highways in the mountains. There are only two bookstores in the entire county, the Barnes and Noble on the other side of town and the other location is up the nearby highway, several miles into a neighboring town.
It's mostly cloudy and in the low 80s, calmer winds and more humid with the rain coming tomorrow. The approaching rain is making my arthritis act up. It's a pain being a human barometer. It's supposed to be very heavy rain late afternoon and early evening, so we have flood advisories for tomorrow. I have PT tomorrow afternoon. I hope I get home before the rain gets heavy.
I mowed the lawn yesterday before dinner and did a little more reorganizing. With all the gusty wind I had to pick up more little branches and twigs around the yard. I have a supermarket delivery order coming later this afternoon. I have to finish putting the laundry away and get things ready for the new week. Last week of PT sessions, tomorrow and Wednesday. One doctor appointment this week, with the dry eye specialist at the end of the week. I still need to schedule that blood test.
Tonight there are new episodes of Patience and Grantchester on PBS.
