We have no Walmarts in my county. Not all counties in New Jersey have Walmarts in them. The closest ones are over in the next county just east of us. I only had a small delivery of non-food items from them once this year. On occasion I have had things shipped where it comes via UPS. They're kinda a pain now over which items you can order for Door Dash delivery or regular shipping without becoming a Walmart club member and the monthly membership fee is higher than Amazon prime. Not worth it since I don't buy from them very often and the groceries section of the closest Walmart super center has less stuff than the typical full sized supermarket.
It's clouds and sun, gusty winds, in 80s. A quiet day and that's what I wanted. No rain likely until Monday so I have already watered the outdoor plants today. It's been in the low to mid 80s during the days and mid 60s at night all week which has been rather pleasant. The high heat and humidity doesn't really crank up in earnest until July.
Just a quiet day and that's what I wanted. The whole neighborhood is quiet today, just the sounds of birds chirping and traffic noise in the distance down on the main street. I went to the laundromat before dinner yesterday so the clothes are still hanging on drying racks for me to take down later. I'm still tired and achy and have another busy week ahead with a medical appointment, PT sessions, and I need to schedule that blood test with LabCorp so I want a resting weekend. But I should mow the lawn later this afternoon closer to dinnertime when the temperatures are cooling back down into the 70s. I have to schedule a supermarket delivery for tomorrow.
